Don’t leave these strategies in 2020!

Not to be cliche, but when you think of your best marketing tactics, think quality over quantity. The more you send out, the less people will read your content. A lot of Nonprofits struggle because they have so much information to get out to their people, but that does not mean send a piece of marketing material out per piece of information (or event). If you can bulk all of your information into a readable piece of email marketing once or twice a week, that’s our go-to suggestion, of course with social media as a reinforcment. If that doesn’t seem like the right move for your organization,  try to find a way to condense emails by category or theme. This big change will go a really long way. You will see increase engagement with not only your emails but event attendance and donations.

This is something really important that should become a regular habit of your organization. Google favors sites that use their Google account, so your SEO ranking will keep climbing. For organizations that have a really small advertising budget (if any), this is a great way to help your marketing. It’s not only a different way for you to get your information to a different audience, but these searchers can get a better idea of who you are quick. It takes no longer than 15 minutes, and it will take your marketing to a whole new level.

Nobody likes an outdated website – in fact, it could turn new visitors away! When people are on your website and find outdated information, they are likely to leave your site right then and there. It is a major red flag to a lot of people. Always be sure to update your site’s content with all the new offerings, information and content, and in addition, remove the old content. Don’t forget to keep up with plug-ins, maintenance, and security also.

Be sure that when you are creating content, you are checking how it looks in mobile view. This means your website, emails, graphics, whatever you are putting out. If your content is not user-friendly on mobile, it may hinder your organization.
